In her action she opened her heart and extended her hands to all kinds of needs; gave refuge to single mothers, at the time expelled from home and disowned by families, instituted nursery schools and courses for young women, welcomed orphaned children or victims of tuberculosis and moral and material misery, made the poor aware of their own rights and supported them in your exercise.
The laborious earthly life of the Servant of God was truncated by an incurable evil, which she welcomed with a spirit of Christian atonement and an active conformity to God's will, in perfect and joyful coherence with the fundamental choice of her experience of faith.
On April 19, 1976, at the congregation's home in Frascati, the Servant of God expired piously, amid the pain of all who were unanimously certain of her holiness of life.
With the spread of Mother Elisa's fame of holiness on April 19, 2002, the process of beatification began, to show the heroic character of her human and Christian virtues. ||
The remains of the Servant of God, after the canonical recognition carried out on March 2, 2003, rest in the Chapel of Nossa Senhora do Carmo, in the Church of Nossa Senhora da Assunção, also known as São Francisco de Paula, in Longobardi.
